Headache from lorazapam

Has anyone experienced headache or weird feelings from lorazapam? Been on this for 5 wks as I'm trying to get on celexa. Felt fine at first, now Can't tell if headache is from celexa, loraz, or both. Thinking of changing to diazapam. Can't just go off, don't see my doc for 2 wks. Have to continue on this til then. Anybody have any info?

Hi, yes!! I had a very bad head on lorazepam & weird feelings.

    How much are you on?

What is celexa? Is it an antidepressant?

3 mgs a day, celexa is an antidepressant. I'm on both right now. Didn't get headache from it til after I took some other drugs that caused headaches. Are you still on lorazapam? Did you change to something else?

What did you do to take care of the problem? I've been using tylenol 8 hr, 650 milligrams

Only thing is, when I take it at night to sleep on, I don't get the headache. Wake up feeling a little weird sometimes. Very strange

Nancy, I was put on lorazepam on a mental hospital ward due to sideeffects from sertraline antidepressant.

I can off lorazepam as quickly as I could then went into withdrawal, I then reinstated small and tapered off over two weeks,

My GP put me on venkaflaxine (Effexor) high fuse to counteract sideeffects.

I gradually weened of Effexor now I’m meds free for 8 months.

Benzodiazepines are addictive after a week, your body will want more and more.

I am anti psychotic meds, I’m lucky to still be here.

      Good luck
