Headaches??

hi everyone,

ever since i was little ive gotten headaches but never thought too much into them. theyre usually behind my eyes and my eye doctor told me i have a slight astigmatism and gave me glasses. i havent worn them in a few weeks and i think that may be why the headaches came back only in my right eye. but its only like a dull ache, wouldnt even consider it a migraine. shes even dialated my eyes and checked behind them and never seen anything so maybe im being paranoid since i have bad anxiety. my regular doctor told me he doesnt administer head CTs unless someone is having crazy symptoms like memory loss, numbess in body parts, really bad coordination, things like that. which i dont think i have but the worry is still there. ive been waking up with them.

does anyone have any words of encouragement or can tell me im being too paranoid?!

    If you've been prescribed glasses then you should definitely wear them. I had the same problem, was having headaches for a couple of months, almost every other day some weeks, went to the doctors and I needed glasses. I used to wear them for distance, now all the time. So I've been wearing my glasses for about a month now and no more headaches. You say the pain is over your right eye, this sounds like a tension headache, which is usually centered over one eye, exactly the same as I was getting. If your eye is straining because you should be wearing glasses then this will definitely cause headaches.
