Headaches and strange dizziness

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have been suffering from headaches and dizziness for about a year - it is an off balance feeling when walking, standing or sitting without my head rested and sometimes can feel like a strange wave in my head or a dropping sensation. This feeling is 24/7 and I’m not getting any relief from it. I have been in contact with the doctors and they first believed it was anxiety but they have now referred me to a cardiologist as they believe it could be POTS. However, I am unable to work or live a normal life at the moment. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

    Hello!

I've had something similar over the past 6months, and I am also being referred to a cardiologist!

Something that may help is to be tested for any vitamin deficiencies (I found out I was deficient in VitD but apparently most people are!). Also, I ran my problems past an ENT specialist who said by dizziness could have been caused with an issue with my jaw (TMD) but also something called a vestibular migraine, as I was so dizzy some days it was crazy, and other days more of an off-balance feeling!

I was also experiencing issues with my heart rate as I was experiencing tachycardia frequently, even just washing my hands! After hearing a few people's experiences with POTS especially with the heart rate and dizziness, it sounded so similar to that! They're still not sure what is wrong with me entirely. But I hope what little information I have helped slightly! 😃
