Headaches from jaw and neck?

Hi Everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has headaches from their jaw and/or neck hurting that is attributed to RA.  I've had a couple so far, and I know they are not migraines (unfortunately know those well).  I'm on naproxen 2x daily, so I haven't taken any other pain releavers.  Missed work last week for a headache.

    I remember having headaches and a stiff neck before I was diagnosed.  I think I've read that it can be in the jaw too but not completely sure.

    Good luck finding the cause!

    RA can affet the neck and cervial spine. I have new pain in my neck , too, and am not sure if this is RA or not. But, it is a common spot, so it might be. Talk to your Doc!

    I've been on many forums for many years. I've heard almost nothing about neck and jaw pain with RA.

    That doesn't mean it can't happen. Just sharing.

    Thanks for the reply. Dr appointment today. They said they had not heard of that but it is possible. I'm switching pain meds from naproxen to difl.-something. Will start that tonight
