Headpressure-Headaches-Dizziness

So for the last couple of months I’ve been dealing with extreme anxiety and agoraphobia because I’ve had a horrible headache with a lot of head pressure with it. My head feels heavy and I’ve got extreme brain fog. What tops it all off is this dizziness and lightheaded ness that comes with it. It’s an all day thing. Does not go away. I’m scared to go anywhere because of this horrible feeling. I’m pretty much home bound. Could this be stress or?? Has anyone else had this before and what can I do to stop this, I’m so tired of feeling so bad all the time. I’m only 22 years old and a new mom. I’ve also been on Lexapro for 5 months too. TIA.

so weird! i’m 21 and after my second baby, i had the same exact symptoms. still haven’t figured out what’s wrong.

be careful though girl, don’t let it send you into a depression. i did, and i felt as if i was dying everyday. 😔

    prayers!

It already has... as soon as the day I gave birth I went straight into Post Partum Depression... I couldn’t move off the couch for a week I was so weak and numb feeling. It’s gottwn better but these headaches and dizziness are terrible. sad

Ugh I had head issues for a few months back in Dec 2017. I was overly stressed/anxious and I started getting such bad muscle tension in the back of my head/neck area. I was also getting painful cluster headaches that would randomly bring these little sharp zap feelings to the side of my head throughout the day. It was sooo annoying and uncomfortable.

An electric heating pad helped me, and tylenol. Eventually as my anxiety started to get less the headaches and muscle tension stopped. I was so freaked out something was wrong bc it was going on for like 3 months. But I saw my Dr, and they said it was stress. And yep, turns out it was just anxiety, like many of my other uncomfortable symptoms -_-

I know it! It’s so awful. I feel like it is stress, but these occur with and without anxiety and that’s what makes me freak out. I’m hoping it will go away eventually. I can handle unmediated childbirth better than this crap. sad

Well keep in mind that just bc you don't mentally feel anxious, doesn't mean the anxiety isn't there. I get anxiety symptoms when I don't actively feel nervous/anxious allll the time. My therapist calls this a "subconscious" anxious. Your mind may not be thinking about it, but it's still there and your body obv feels it.

Thank you! I’m going to have my eyes checked also. I wear contacts and my vision seems to be off. I don’t know if that can contribute to chronic dizziness and headaches but I’m willing to do anything at this point.
