Heal pain

Almost a year ago my heal began hurting are running at a school event for my son and daughter. The pain is there everyday and when I do not have some sort of shoe on I can hardly walk on it. If I sit for even 5 minutes and get up the pain is so bad that I have to favor that foot and limp which is starting to cause pain in my ankle and knee. What could this possibly be. I have tried everything from just relaxing it to icing it

    Have you when to your foot dr If not that may be a good start or go  Ortho DR. Hope you get things worked out soon .and back on your feet without pain.

    I had the exact same thing a few years ago. It was caused by a heel spur and plantar fasciitis. It is extremely painful. I eventually saw a Dr Who used electric shock wave therapy and gave me a special sock to sleep in at night which helped stretch the muscles.It took quite a few weeks but it sorted out the pain. Good luck. I hope you come right soon. please update us and let us know how you are doing.

    I agree with bailyBoo, it's definitely time to see an orthopedic Dr;  at least, start with an x-ray or some diagnostic tests to find out what's going on.  Pain just stinks!  Hopefully, you'll find some answers and you can chase those kids around again.  Keep me updated and Good Luck!!

    I have no idea but have you seen a foot and ankle specialist?? I would go to 2 or 3 for 2nd and third opinions, good luck!!!!
