Healed bortholin abcess still stings during sex weeks later

I had a nasty infected cyst a while ago and ended up going to a gyno who drained it. I went back later with pain and they said its healing perfectly and that i just had scar tissue at the incision point. Its been several weeks now and i still feel a stinging pain during sex. I have no problems with the scar tissue itself and this is not a vanity issue. it feels like it is still an open wound and I dont know how to help it heal. Very frustrated. 😦
