Healing ?

As I move along in the recovery process I want to make sure I am healing properly. Up until recently, I have felt no discomfort or pain and have kept weight off my ankle.
Within the last few days I have started to feel some warmth under my cast (just for a few seconds) and some tingling. Is this typical?
Last night my leg felt uncomfortable and hurt a bit... which was the first time I felt any discomfort since the break 3 weeks ago. Today accidently bumped my cast a couple of times and my leg hurt. Could I have damaged anything?
I am trying to eat lots of fruit and veggies and lots of calcium rich foods and I am really taking it easy.... lots of bedrest. I go to the doctor again on Wednesday, but can't help but worry.... any insights would be helpful

You sound right on track!
Firstly you most likely did zero damage when you bumped your cast. It happens and that's what the cast is for. It helps protect your ankle so try and relax.
Tingling is the nerves in your foot and ankle regenerating. It can get intense but it's normal. Also the warmth is pretty normal too. As long as it's not in your incision then I wouldn't worry. Wiggle those toes and elevate as much as you can. Good luck!!!

I agree with Melissa I experienced the tingling at first my doctor said it was the tendons contracting. The doctor told me the tendons normally contract and with them being restricted they can't do what they normally do so it is them contracting, and healing.

Eat lots of protein. Antioxidants are helpful too. I like Welches grape juice with antioxidants. Drink plenty of water. I'm taking a supplement from Walmart: Spring Valley brand Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc with Vitamin D. It has kept me stay regular too and that makes everything work better.
