Healing with Perrin naturals anyone

Posted , 22 users are following.

I just read reviews on a website with pretty impressive reviews of LS sufferers finding much relief and healing from one or two of their products. Have any of you heard of Perrin complete or Perrins blend? I'm very tempted to try one. I am insecure about my Gyno possibly being upset with me for trying something natural. How do you handle the steroid/ natural with your health care provider?

Hi Sandra, l have been using Perrins complete cream for nearly two years now with only three to four flare ups. My GP prescribes Dermovate for severe itching. l too was a little hesitant about telling her l used alternative creams but she said if it works for me just to carry on. All l can say to you is, it's your body and you shouldn't be afraid to tell your Gyno that you will use a natural product between flare-ups. You will have to use panty liners as the cream is a yellow colour and can stain underwear. There is a UK website  that now sells the cream for £25 a tub, expensive but well worth it. Good luck.

Perrins Creme Complete is fantastic! I use this along with Emuaid and they stop the itching completely.

    Perrins products are excellent!

I tried the Perrins Creme Complete and it did nothing for me.  It burned and stung, and thought I hung in there and kept at it for several weeks, it did not improve my condition in any way.

    Hi Sandra

I've just landed up on this forum as was researching the dreaded LS. I noticed your post is 2 years old and wondered how you are getting on and which of the tips below you used? I'm newly diagnosed by my GP and awaiting a biopsy to confirm and although my symptoms aren't causing me too much discomfort at the moment I want to start the remedies to stop it getting any worse! Are you using steroids

Nice to have you on the forum but at the same time, I'm sorry you are suffering from LS.

I have found a fairly workable routine with moderate success. I find my LS fairly easy to manage most of the time.

I do use steroid but I also use a product called Emuaid. The emuaid has been so so helpful. I hate to run out; it's gives me so much relief. I also use moisturizers such as emu oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, castor oil, witch hazel oil... I switch off with those as I get irritated and itchy if I continue one too long.

I also have done many a baking soda bath but have switched to bathing in borax. I think I have better success with borax. (Read the thread on using borax). Women are having good results with it.

Sugar... especially chocolate, and clementines and strawberries irritate my condition.  If I sweat, I need to wash off fairly quickly because it can cause a glare.  Stress also can trigger it.

What works for one, doesn't always for the other, so it's a lot of trial and some error. Lots of women on here have success with coconut oil but it makes me get very itchy.

I wish you good success on your journey.

Hi Sandra sorry I didn’t get notification of your reply! Thanks for sharing your tips. My biopsy is next week which I’m dreading!

Are you in the UK? I’ve heard so many good reports about Borax baths but I didn’t think it was available here?

Does this help prevent flare ups or just to sooth when in a flare? I’ll read the thread anyway.

Hope you are well at the  moment.

Whatever works is what you should follow!!! this disorder is not something Gynos have found a cure for so they are pretty much in the dark and only prescribing steroids as they don't know what else to do.

This works: get organic almond oil and add camphor oil- apply regularly throughout the day- it costs nothing and gets rid of the itch.

The next part is more finely tuned for each person but in a very general way I can say I cured myself by recognising the following:

    1. you are run down - so you need to reboot your immune system- take probiotics, L-Lysine, and an hormone balancing herb

    2. You may have anxiety issues- take action

    3. You may have toxin overload - cut out gluten, alcohol, dairy and cigarettes, coffee and tea for 28 days.

    4. Buy diatomaceous earth and use it to clear the body of heavy metals and parasites.

Each person is different but I got rid of it totally and now I can drink alcohol and eat cheese etc again. My body was totally run down and could not fight off the disease but when I built myself back up I could. I also went to a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner.

I had a severe allergic reaction to the perrins. With so many ingredients in one cream, I’m not surprised. Even though it’s “natural”, doesn’t mean it’s good for your skin.

I’m very sensitive to many creams. I was going to order emuaid cream but I looked at the ingredients and it contains alcohol so that’s out for me. Many ladies have success with it though  I’m still using clobetasol once daily. Have burning and pain still. I’ll see dr wed and hopefully get some answers. It’s so frustrating and very uncomfortable to say the least

I wouldn't recommend the Emuaid cream, but I do highly recommend regular emu oil.  There are no added ingredients, it's just the oil and it's very gentle.  I use it on my LS, but also on my face as a regular moisturizer.  I've also used it on my children when they get dry patches.
