Hi luke, propananol in my opinion is a wonder drug, it gets rid of anxiety in 20 mins, but does cause significant weight gain! Which is why I stopped using it but it is very good

I wasnt Able to take bp meds. I would have as bp is important to keep in check. Im sure there is another way to manage the weight part of it. Maybe it doesnt do that after it settles down and your body adjusts to it. Maybe there is a diet you go on or something. Bp absolutely flies high with stress i went through this last winter. I took the diet route and went on a healthy heart smart diet and made sure i walked at least five miles day..did it with steps. A fit bit but one with no heart monitor i didnt want to hate the gadget but then happily within six weeks after a boat load of heart tests i was able to lower it. But im sure if the meds worked i would have been more lazy about the whole thing. You cant allow your bp to remain high. Oh yea mindfullness technique breathing is fantastic for bp. I learned it off you tube and practiced for days. My doc had me come in and we tested it with taking my bp and it absilutely worked so well. Just have to do it at first quite a bit during the day. Definitely go in a heart smart diet. The eyes a very effected by high blood pressure and drops in bp. And high bp creates a lot of anxiety too. Think about all this and maybe see a cardiologist as well. They have other bo meds available out there too. Good luck and feel better
