Hi,
I know exactly how this feels. It's awful, and I'm sorry you are feeling this right now. You can breathe, it's about stopping to try so hard. The harder we try, the harder it is to breathe. You should distract your mind as much as possible when this happens. The breathing will take care of itself when youe mind is distracted. Listen to your fav music, paint, read a book, watch a good movie, do some light exercise to get the anxiety energy out. You won't stop breathing, and you can't die from this. You are getting enough oxygen, it's your brain playing tricks making it think that you are not. Keep telling yourself that. And get a therapist if you can, so they can help you figure out your beliefs about your physical symptoms of anxiety. Trust me, I've been feeling this same way for weeks now. Chest tightness, feeling like I can't get a deep inhale, throat tightness - it's all physical symptoms of anxiety! Hope you feel much better!

hi there,
I have exactly the same and i completely understand how you feel. As i was reading what you had put i was thinking did i write this and forget about it? I think whats important to remember is that you are not in this alone and that despite your fears and worries about your health you will be okay. I really do feel for you and i do really hope that you manage to find a way of overcoming and dealing with your health anxiety. But remember that no matter how you feel right now in this moment, tomorrow is always another day to feel positive that you can get through this and you will be absolutely undoubtedly fine
