Health anxiety is ruining my life.

Hello, everyone. I'll cut to the chase because I'm really scared/ anxious right now. I'm 20 years old and I'm terrified of everything. the past month I've convinced myself I've had multiple medical emergencies. I've visited the ER 4 times and every week of September I was in my doctors office. I've convinced myself I've had pancreatitis, appendicitis, very low sodium, a bleeding stomach, a brain tumor, a heart attack, and my latest fear is seizures. Just now, I think I was dozing off due to my medication but I woke up with my heart racing, stomach in knots, trembling, and terrified. I immediately googled the symptoms of a seizure and convinced myself I had one. nobody in my family has had seizures, nor have i had one before. But anxiety has convinced me I did.
Health anxiety had convinced me I'm sick despite multiple doctors telling me I'm perfectly healthy. i start therapy on Friday, but it seems so far away. I've also developed a fear of taking any medication and thats exactly what my psychiatrist reccomends.
During these moments of high anxiety, I feel like clawing out of my own skin and I cry and tremble. I feel like kicking and screaming.
please let me know this is anxiety and I'm not losing my mind..

Hi there, need to start taking medication for you're extremely high level of anxiety and panic attacks and you seem to have turned into a hypochondriac thinking that you have something wrong with you all the time and that you are sick 🤮 all the time. Stay off the internet don't Google your symptoms because it's all to do with your high level of anxiety and panic attacks. You really should take your 😷 advice and start taking meds every day (multiple times a day) to combat your anxiety and panic attacks and start living a more normal life you are only 20 years old you are so young still. Anxiety can be very crippling I've been dealing with this since I was 14 years old and I'm 40 years old now and I take two different medications for my anxiety 4x a day and I wouldn't be able to function without them. You really need to get a regular psychiatrist because they are better trained in dealing with mental health issues than a family doctor. Also go to the library and get some books on anxiety disorders and do some reading and group therapy will help you a lot I did group therapy last year for six months at my local hospital and I loved it.

this is 100% anxiety.
when we are so anxious we are so intune to every single little ache and pain and we then make it into a major illness when its not.
You are not dying, you have health anxiety.
The adrenaline causes your heart to race and the cycle goes round and round making you feel on edge all the time (being in flight or fight mode 24/7)
Your therapy will help and meds can help too. Ive managed to get on top of my anxiety without the meds so far but have them in the cupboard ready should i fall into the deep end again.
Seeing a local dr over emergency will ease the work load on the ER if you think its your anxiety playing tricks on you.
Anxiety is really the worst thing because you start to worry what is real and what is not.

Me too 💯. I just seen my psychiatrist this morning she has prescribed me an anti psychotic for my insomnia and anxiety called nozinan but the pharmacy had to order it for me so it will be ready by Thursday morning. That's the generic name for it the brand name starts with an "M" has anyone else ever heard of this medication before or is anyone else taking this medication right now and if so what are your thoughts on this medicine? 🤔 Does it help you sleep well at night and does it help you with your anxiety disorder? 🤔 If anyone could please weigh in on this topic I'd greatly appreciate it and also does it make you gain a lot of weight? 🤔 She increased my mood stabilizer for me so I can take 50mg during the day and still take 100mg at night and I'm still only taking 50mg of zoloft at night and 60mg of temazepam each night but hopefully this new medicine will help me out with my severe insomnia and anxiety disorder that I won't have to take 60mg of temazepam each night I can cut down to 30mg each night and I still take 0.5mg of clonazepam 4x a day and I see her again in February.

Hey pink milk I too have anxiety and have been on medication for a couple of years. when I have bouts of it I have to recognise what is causing it then deal with it and let those close to you know that you have anxiety symptoms. and if you feel you cant deal with it on your own then see if you can get into to see a doctor or therapist.
If you want to kick and scream then go ahead and do it. If you feel like pulling and tearing at your skin you may actually have a pollen allergy affecting your skin and making you itchy. Your not alone pink milk and you don't need to do it alone
I wake up with the shakes but I recognise them, I have told my partner who is a big help. I keep busy and get my jobs done I go to bed early read my book then sleep to rest.
