Health Anxiety - Leg Pain

I had a few months where I wasn't overly worried about any medical stuff. But right now I'm wigging out almost as badly as ever, and I'm worried that it isn't just anxiety

So last weekend, after having pains in my right calf for a few days, I went to the walk in urgent care. I hated to do it, but I figured it would set my mind at ease. They did an Ultrasound of my leg and it came back clear. They also checked my blood sugar and said it was fine. I was discharged with no explanation of the cause of my pain, but they said it would go away.

Now, nearly a week later, the pain in the calf is still there. A very weird pulling sensation, sometimes accompanied by a "burning" feeling on the inside. The pain is typically dull, like a toothache, but sometimes sharp and stabbing. Seems to be worse when I'm sitting around or in bed.

But lately I've also been having weird breathing issues. Not exactly out of breath, but feeling like I can't breathe deeply enough. I've also had some chest pains and have been coughing, even though nothing is coming up. It's like a nervous tick.

My concern is that I do have a clot in my leg that went undiagnosed, and now it may be effecting my lungs too. I'm going to see my GP (he's not really "my" GP, but he's the only physician left on my campus for the summer session) this morning, in a few hours. But I'm super worried that he'll either ignore all these feelings, or (even worse) have me sent back to the hospital for another round of tests, where they'll either find nothing again or find something that'll scare me. I just really, really don't want to die from something like this and I can't shake the feeling that it'll be bad news.

Any advice, comfort, personal stories would be appreciated. Think I'm overreacting? And, if I'm right about all this, do you think they'll be able to treat me before something bad happens? Could the original test have even missed something in the first place?

Thanks...

Hi. Tests they do are usually thorough and they know what they are looking for, the pulling and burning sensation, is it in your calf muscle? My hubby gets this a lot , like he's pulled something. Please don't google , you will convince yourself it it a blood clot or something sinister, docs should reasure you. The chest tightness and coughing etc sounds like anxiety, really common ,

Ask for more reasurance from doc, could all be anxiety, ask doc to get to help you get to route of problem??

Thanks. Just left doctor's office. He stretched my leg, did some pulling and neurological tests. At the end he told me it was likely a pinched nerve, or possibly muscle-related. But he also said he wouldn't expect me to have pain when lying down, which I do, so he said it probably isn't a back related nerve issue.

I brought up the idea of blood clot and said "you don't have a blood clot". He was a little dismissive, but he explained that I don't have any signs of a clot and that the test from a week ago showed it was all OK. And since I don't have a blood clot, any breathing issues can't be from a clot spreading to my lungs.

The thing is, I know he is right. It doesn't make sense that I would randomly have a blood clot, for one thing. And then I did the Doppler and it came back clear nearly a full week ago. There is no swelling, redness, or major pain. Just nagging discomfort and a lot of nervousness. And yet, I can't shake my fears.

Maybe I'll try to nap today. Haven't slept in quite a while.... Thanks for your help <3
