Health Anxiety - Symptoms - Colonoscopy - weight loss

I am not sure if I am actually sick or it is my anxiety and I am combining many symptoms into one.

My anxiety started when I asked my doctor for a colonoscopy. I had rectal bleeding for years but always chalked it up as hemorrhoids and fissures etc. when I spoke with my doctor she started asking all these questions about symptoms and I started getting all the symptom. She sent me for some blood work and that’s when my anxiety started to peak. I started googling all my blood work and the connection to health issues. I lost my appetite, started losing weight, and lost my sleep. I did not sleep for two weeks. I was in hell during the week waiting for my colonoscopy. After the colonoscopy the surgeon told me that there’s no cancer but they removed some polyps that they sent for biopsy. I got reassurance for an hour or two and I was back to same thing googling and worrying. After another week of hell I got my biopsy result and it was clear. But it still only helped for a few hours. During this time i have had multiple blood test and an EKG all came back normal. I am still mentally not recovered. I am losing weight, losing hair, dark circles around my eyes. I don’t know what is going on. I had an appointment with health care provider who is a kind and caring nurse practitioner. She referred me to internal medicine specialist and psychologist. It actually increased my anxiety and I don’t know how long that going to take to see the specialist.

I am so worried that I have a serious health condition and will become burden on my family, won’t see my son grow up.

I guess I need to know if anyone has had these symptoms. Appetite loss, hair loss, weight loss, sleep issues. How did you deal it? What should I do?

Thanks for reading.
