Heard of anything like this?

I am 15 years old and about 4 months ago i had an achy pain in my lower back. 1.5 days later I was going to bed and my legs started throbbing all over the pain was almost unbearable. Then, i got out of bed and i fell, i could not stand, i tried with all  of my strength to pull myself up but i couldn't. i couldn't really lift them, they just felt like noodles. about 2 days later i was starting to gain back my ability to walk, steadily, something was wrong with my gait though, and i was very slow (kind of a limp) for about a week i had the worst pain in my back i had ever felt. I could not get comfortable or sleep at all because of the pain. I had a contrast MRI and some nerve roots in my spinal column were lit up. about 2 weeks ago (four months later) my limp finally went away and i have had 2 MRI's since. I had a spinal tap in the hospiital but that came back fine. I am in physical therapy because i practically lost all of my muscle and i am progressivley getting better, as well as the MRIs. im curious if anyone has heard of a similar incident. They are still puzzled and are leanign towards like a virus that attacked my immune system. I don't know please leave any info you have!!

    yes I WOKE ONE MORNING AND I WAS COMPLETELY PARALYZED WAIST DOWN.4 TO 5 HOURS LATER I HAD REGAINED ENOUGH TO STAND AND TO LOOK AT ME YOU WOULD FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT I AM DAMAGED.

    I GO TO SEE MY GP AND SHE ASKED ALOT OF QUESTIONS AND THEN SAYS I SHOULD HAVE X-RAYS.I AM NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THEM THEY FIND SOMETHING WHICH CAN ONLY BE BAD OR FIND NOTHING AD I AM MAD(NOBODY SAW ME PARALYZED)THEY FIND A FRACTURE NOW ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON AND MRI.MRI SIGNIFICANT DEGENERATION OF DISC L1/S1 WITH LOSS OF HEIGHT AND LOSS OF SIGNAL.THE FRACTURE IS AN AREA OF SPONDYLOLYSIS OF L4.IT MEANS THE AREA IS CONTINUALLY REMODELLING..

    SPONDYLOLYSIS IS SOMETIMES CALLED PARS DEFECT.IT IS A MEDICAL RED FLAG BUT MOST DOCTORS HAVE NO UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT IS SERIOUS PATHOLOGY.THEY JUST LOOK AT THE COMPUTER AND TRY TO MAKE EVERYTHING FIT.

    THE PROGRAM WILL ALWAYS CONSIDER SPINAL PROBLEMS AS NON-PASIFIC BACK PAIN.THAT IS WHY YOU ARE HAVING MRI WHEN STRUCTUAL PROBLEMS ARE MORE LIKELY WHICH MEANS X-RAYS

    SORRY IF SOME OF MY SPELLING IS WRONG.

      Thank you for replying, i have another mri tuesday & i went to see my neruologist friday. they are testing me for something that has only about 130 cases in the US that were similar to my problems. i cant remember the name

    Ask them to test your reflexes and is your hamstrings tight,you are the right age to have a pars defect.It can occur when a person has a growth spurt and plays certain sports.
