Hi Nikitaratan, the only way of getting rid of it is seeing a doctor as you may need wax removed and to find out if the infection is in the ear canal or behind the ear drum. Each of those will be treated differently. Ear infections can be unbearably painful if you leave them. It's not worth risking that. For now you can put warm olive oil in the ear with a cotton ball that will help keep the oil in there. If you see a Chemist they may suggest ear drops, but they can't look in your ear to know what drops are the best. Did you get the ear ache after swimming or a cold?

    Hello Nikitaratan,

I completely agree with Olizzieo. You could either have wax blocking the ear passage, an infection or other obstruction. Sinuses will do this.

Hydrogen Peroxide is safe for ear wax as well but check first with your doctor.

I had the same exact issue and it lasted about 10 days and went away. I used ear drops, nose spray and a decongenstant. I have wicked tinnitus and I know I have ear problems anyway. The blocked feature was more than I can stand.

Did you try unblocking your ear by pinching your nostrils and gently blowing? You might also want to try blowing up a balloon which I also did. That seemed to release some of the pressure.

Good luck and let us know when you get some relief.

    Hi Nikitaratan,

So many factors enter into a physician's determination of treatment. Do you have a fever, is the ear discharging, have you any allergies, have you had ear difficulties in the past, is the ear red..

Hearing is precious, to precious to jeopardize...go to the doctor and ask.

    kind regards
