Heart anxiety

Can someone please post a success story on heart anxiety. I cannot get over it. Or give me some guidance where I'm going wrong. All day long I have pains in chest and stuff and it's ruining every day all day of my life. I also feel like a throbbing/pulsating feeling in my chest which I can only describe as it feeling like heart itself is bleeding (which I don't think is even logical is it) I have pulled the life out of my left nipple and when that rubs on my shirt I think it may be that which is causing the sensation. But I think maybe I'm hoping it is the nipple when it could be serious. I've had countless ecg's but I just don't feel right and live everyday in fear. I feel ashamed as you have already given me so much advice but nothing is working. Therapy, medication. Relexation techniques. If this is the life I have to live then I don't want to anymore unfortunately. Tried ignoring the symptoms but it's hard when they last all day. I feel a beat under my left armpit and in my nipple aswell. Stuck. Lost.  Confused.

Hi, I've been dealing with pretty much the exact same thing. It's only been 2 months since I had my first severe anxiety attack and have only had 1 other since where my heart rate goes up to 150 beats per minute, my left arm goes numb, I can't breath, I get a severe pain in my chest and I feel like I'm going to collapse. But ever since that first attack, I've had the pain in the left side of my chest and it just comes back every day. I've seen a cardiologist, a pulmonologist, my family doctor, done an EKG twice and had blood tests. All results come back perfectly fine. I have to take ativan everynight or I can't sleep and have also started on an SSRI called citalopram which I've only been taking for a few weeks. I've started seeing a psychotherapist for CBT and relaxation technics which seem to help with the anxiety feeling but I can't get rid of the pain. I hope to figure out what is causing it. The doctors keep telling me it's just muscle pain caused by the tension from the anxiety but I still can't shake the feeling that something else is causing it. I could certainly let you know if I get any more info and hopefully you could do the same for me. This is all very new to me but I'm trying to stay strong and get through it .

All I can think of is that the anxiety and fear have completely taken over and you are stuck  in that vicious cycle, so you keep getting the chest pain, throbbing and pulsating feeling.

you probably know this but when there's anxiety, your brain sends out the adrenaline which causes rapid, throbbing heart rate .

I know you've tried everything but if there's a way to relax your mind about this, those sensations should at least diminish a little bit. Your test came out normal  which is a good thing.

Have you ever had any other test such as a echo cardio gram?  That checks how blood flows through the heart, heart valves, blood vessels.  It is noninvasive.

remember, you can always get another doctors opinion if you would like. Maybe that would give you peace of mind. I'm sorry you're going through all of this. Hope you feel better soon ??

I've had two echo cardio grams. It's not like pain it's so weird. Like all day I can feel like anpulsating feeling in my chest when I concentrate on it. The I have to sigh and catch a deep breathe which makes me worry about heart too. When I walk I focus on it. When I work I focus on it. Im completely trapped. Had ecg's only few weeks ago and was normal again. This is a living nightmare. Had a few different doctors give me the all clear but I cannot live feeling like this sad
