The symptoms are not in your head. You are actually having them although your doctor said your heart is fine. Anxiety can cause symptoms such as chest pain and hundreds more.

Millions of people have the same symptoms with anxiety. Symptoms related to  anxiety cannot hurt you! They are scary but that is all they can do. It sounds like you are overcome with fear which actually brings on more symptoms. All anxiety starts in the brain and you need to calm the brain down to reduce or eliminate symptoms.

here is what happens: when you getting nervous about something your brain thinks you are in danger. So it sends out adrenaline a hormone to protect you. This hormone can have a lot of effects such as racing heart and make you feel a little anxious.

when you get anxious about the symptoms you're having from that, the brain sends out more adrenaline! So you feel worse. It's a vicious cycle.

The main goal is calming  down your brain and body.

try not to overreact when you get symptoms. Listen to some great audio meditations on YouTube for anxiety. It really helped me a lot! Just search for guided meditations for anxiety. Also speaking with a counselor helped me a lot.  They calm down my mind and body.

don't let fear take you over! React as calmly as you can when you are feeling that way so your brain doesn't get overly anxious.

pick up a book called mindfulness it teaches you all of this including the proper breathing technique when you feel anxiety coming on.

remember when symptoms are due to anxiety they cannot hurt you!

All great info.  Youtube is brilliant - all your symptoms disappear once you have listened.  I also have the book called mindfulness and practice it every day.

Loads you can do to help yourself.

I am dealing with the same issues heart Palpitations , chest hurting , odd sensations around chest but it is anxiety . I have been cleared medically . I also did a little test the other day I felt like this I took a half of a klonopin pill to see if would all go away and it did. Stuff like what will prove it is anxiety. It's hard for me due me being reluctant on taking meds

It is a white book  with what looks like a ball of tangled string on the cover. The site won't let me leave the name of the authors but most bookstores will have it.

You recognise yourself that you are over anxious and Jan is right, anxiety is the great mimic, it can create so many physical effects people can think it means something serious is happening. Of course you can't have a heart attack every day and your Dr has ruled it out, the sensible thing would be to dismiss it, your fears are consistently wrong. The trouble is that they anxiety also reduces your ability to think logically. Do a search and look for information about the effects of anxiety, if you understand how it works that can help you understand the symptoms. You can then look for self help techniques, there are lots and people try lots of different things to find the right ones for them. If you still feel stuck try and find a CBT therapist, this is a therapy that focussed specifically on your problem and is generally short term, its also the most effective. Drugs can help manage the symptoms but are rarely a good long term solution, some can even make it harder to get long term control.

So I just called the paramedics and I told them I was worried sick about a heart arrack . They told me that at the age of 19 I shouldn't be worried about a heart attack . They say I have to have heart problems or that something has to be wrong with me to have one . Is that true ? My BP was 119/76 and I had 100% oxygen. HR was 110

Hi, yes it is true.  And your BP at that level - well let's just say, wish my reading was as good smile

These are flagship symptoms of Panic Disorder (PD). There's nothing wrong with your heart. Definitely a manifestation of anxiety!
