Heart Flutters?

Anybody else get heart flutters/skips after they've been really stressed and anxious. Feels like mine are happening all the time which only makes me more anxious! I had a holter monitor 6months ago and they said that it was satisfactory, and I have a cardiologist appointment in a few weeks so I'll mention it to him. Cant go to the ER/A&E due to medical ptsd, but I mentioned it to my GP the other day and he didn't seem too bothered once I told him I was anxious and stressed. Thank you!

yes same here. They are the worst when stressed, i had an episode of 3 or 4 in a row which was very scary. i have a strong pounding pulse 24/7 so i pick up on everything which is frustrating!! i have had ECG ECO bloods strest tests the lot.

how are you finding it now

I definitely think it's stress related, once they calmed down and my mind could eventually erase the fear that they were going to happen again, things really improved. However, I noticed the SECOND I got incredibly stressed again they made their return! I spoke to someone about it and they recommended walking about when they come or coughing, which has seemed to help! I'm learning to ignore them much more now! How are yours?

Hi, I have this issue, I dont get them all day everyday but sometimes get one single strong skip type feeling almost like you feel when you go over a hump in the road or down a drop on a rollercoaster. It scares the hell out of me and I have now linked this into me having an undiagnosed heart condition or im going to have at heart attack at any moment. It has caused me so much fear that I am now scared to play the sports I have played for years, I have not played football for nearly 2 months now, I force myself to play tennis and badminton but im constantly on the look out for any signs and keep checking my fitbit to make sure my heart rate is where I think it should be (with no true understanding if i`m right).

I have had bloods taken and an ECG which have all come back fine, the GP has listened to my heart and confirmed there is nothing that concerns him about my heart function but I just cant stop worrying, it is playing a significant role in my life right now and the future no longer seems bright .
