Heart Issue/Headaches

Severe headaches for weeks, no relief from any pain pills or regular headaches medicine. I have a heart murmur, had a TIA just over a year ago. I take metoprolol 50 mg 2 times day. I had a spell 3 weeks ago with chest pain, tightness & heavy feeling so I took a nitroglycerin pill, it eased the pain. Now for over 2 weeks i have had severe headaches with no relief. went to local doctor, then to the ER. cant find any signs to point towards a answer. they want me to see my cardiologist because they think it could be from lack of blood flow/oxy to the brain because of hole between chambers that may not be producing enough to the brain
