Heart or something else

hi

yesterday i had excruciating oain in my neck shoulder and ribs aswel as down my arm. i have today had my pulse checked my heart rate listened to and an ecg were the man said he would send results ts in 7 days. is this enough to rule out anything serious to do with my heart?

please help im worried x

    if they would of saw something they would of sent you to the hospital ekg domt always show everything you can ask for a holter monitor as well ekg only measure for like 2mins not even at least this way its 2-3 days and they should of took blood work as well

      ye they dis do blood and the ecg was done in the hosp xxx

    Well an ECG would show if you was having a heart attack for sure also a blood test would show a certain enzyme your heart releases when having a heart attack. this does not neccessarily rule out the likes of heart disease, angina etc.

    Like said a holster for 7 days may show more but when do you get this feeling? Was you busy, doing something or sitting down?

    Do you suffer anxiety?

    Do you still have the pain?

    if you are seriosuly concerned you can get a second opinion, maybe ask for a cardiologist appointment or go ER where they will run further tests.

      it happened the morning after very hard gym class

      it is still there around my neck shoulder and ribs. it could well have been a strain.

      i do suffer from anxiety so when im unwell i tend to worry alot. xxx
