.hiya. sorry ur feeling this way. heart palpitations are scary. I had them about 3 weeks ago . went to my doctors and I had an ecg done at my doctors. turns out I have ectopic beats. and they are common. everyone gets them. they are 100% not dangerous. But some people when they do feel them tune into too much and they continue to feel it. that's what was happening me. I felt it and then kept thinking about it and kept feeling them thinking something was wrong. and sometimes I'd feel it worse when I wouldn't be doing anything. maybe this is what u have. maybe ask ur doctor for an ecg. mine only took 10 mins and I got the results straight away. if you look it up it will tell u. so maybe just ask for an ecg and hope u feel better soon xx

i really hope i can help you as i have been going through the exact same thing. i had a period of about 8 weeks where i started to get palpitations and they progressed to daily, after i ate, if i went swimming, or just when i changed position... i e if i sat down from standing.

the palpitations felt like a skipped best or a strong beat.

after lots of research i came across a youtube cardiologist, York Cardiology and he is amazing at explaining lots of things...

in short i started making some changes... tumeric for anti inflammatory and magnesium, as this has helped many people.

it took two weeks of these supplements but suddenly the palpitations stopped, nearly as quickly as they started. as i got complacent, i stopped taking the supplements and my palpitations returned... so i restarted the magnesium and within a few days they cleared up again.

whilst all this was happening i had an echocardiagram, a 24 hr ecg etc... and they showed nothing other than ectopic beats, which is what i believe i was feeling.

some people talk about palpitations that come on with panic attacks but i believe these are different and not what i was experiencing.

i sincerely hope that this can help you and if you do believe or find out you have ectopic beats then the majority of doctors will tell you these are benign and common... some people feel then, mostly those people who are tuned into symptoms because of anxiety and other people have them, as per ecg, but dont feel them.

take care of yourself and id love to know how you get on.

Heart palpitations can be a cause from low vitamin D ,as that is on the long list of symptoms ... How low was you D levels and what iu dosage are you on ? 3 weeks you wouldnt feel the effects yet . It takes 3 to 6 months to start replenishing your levels ,however hang in there you will get there .. Keep us updated so to help others that suffer the same symptoms .. Note : Palpitations us not known to cause heart attack or stroke ...

Also a Tip : EARTHING is good for palpitations . In some patients has been a cure
