Does anyone else experience heart palpitations during episodes of anxiety? I have days where I feel as if my heart flutters then goes back to normal, I have to have some dental work done and I'm fee

anxiety towards it and today I have had some minor palpitations, I don't think it is a heart problem because I have seen a cardiologist awhile back and he found nothing.

Anxiety causes adrenaline to be released which can cause rapid heart rate and other symptoms that won’t hurt you. It wears off eventually.  Try to relax your mind by doing slow deep breathing. You can find a good short breathing meditation on you tube called Mindfulness breathing Guided meditation 10 minutes.  Or meditations for anxiety that totally calm down my mind and body and symptoms.

Take time to slow down and enjoy the simple things like a walk in nature, laughter, relaxing music, etc.

It makes me feel so much better hearing I'm not the only one with all these symptoms, today has been a rough day and being started on amoxicillin for my tooth doesn't help me much, one of the things with my anxiety is that I fearful of other medications other than my fluextine, I always fear I'm going to have an allergic reaction, every anxiety symptom through out the day has really been stressing me out

Yes I do. I've had constant palpitations for weeks now everyday and night. I've been to my gp whose sent me for a 24 hour heart monitor. It's the worst thing I've had in my life. So you're not alone x
