Heart Palpitations and Meds

hi all,

today will be day 11 on lexapro. while i can feel progress, i have taken what feels like 10 steps back by being overly aware and anxious of my heartbeat. i occasionally get heart flutters or palpitations, which i am sure fluctuate between anxiety and hormone changes...but i am now worried that the palpitations i have had recently are being caused by the medication. stupid me googled it and found a forum of folks who stopped lexapro due to intense palpitations. super...whyyyy did i do that.

part of me does feel that they are most likely causes by my anxiety. my bloodwoork all came back normal, heart rate and blood pressure was all good at my last several doc visits...but, as many of you know, that evil "what if" cycle spirals throughout my brain.

do any of you experience this? are any of you successfully on lexapro?

    i have no experience of the drug but the palpitations i have had a few months. they happen at different times of the day for no reason but like you my bloods and ecg perfect so has to be anxiety
