Heart Palpitations every day?

So I've been struggling with anxiety disorders my whole life. I am a MAJOR hypochondriac and am OCD, so the two together are not good. I'm always aware of my heartbeat, and when I'll even be calm and think i am okay, my heart will all of a sudden skip a beat and i will feel it in my neck or chest (no pain just like a pause feeling). I have no other symptoms along with this, but its been KILLING ME mentally and driving me insane. I do drink alcohol as I am 21 and a college student and dont have the best diet, but I get regular exercise, have always been physically active, and dont have any family history of heart disease. Opinions?

I have had anxiety for years and have the same heart palpitations you describe. I have gone to a doctors and had ekgs and a monitor for a week all came back my heart is fine so yours most likely is too. So don't worry this is part of anxiaty. I will say the test gave me piece of mind so I think it's worth it. Just so you don't panic every time you have a bunch in a row. Hope this helps

Yes I have had those. but mostly it's just multiple skiped beats I can have 30 an hour at times. Last week I had a flutter that lasted maybe 15 seconds then my heart beat went to 170 10 min later down to 145 but that lasted a couple hours took a xanax went to the doctors next day and she felt it was a panic attack

Exact sad feeling here! Also had everything tested and Heart is strong as an « athlete » as the cardiologist said! I noticed when I’m in periods of stress my heart tends to flutter or palpitating more. Tricks in case you feel that pause. Cough really loud or force like you are doing a #2 (I know it’s weird) but it actually helps reset any palpitation. As for the dizziness it’s been driving me crazy as well. Plus I get nauseous sometimes too. Damn anxiety.
you’re not alone and I know that can be quite reassuring.
