Heart palpitations feel like floor drops?

I believe I get PVC's from anxiety and the medications used to treat it. Not positive since no doctor has ever given a term for the sensation when I describe it. But wanted to know if anyone else with premature beats or skipped beats simultaneously feels like the floor is dropping under them or that they're sinking into the ground when this happens?

I feel almost like a shock in my chest that is the same feeling you get when something scares you bad, and at the same time it's like the floors dropped an inch below my feet. Also can feel like I've sunk into the ground.

Usually at work when I am dreading it happening the most! I anticipate it with every step and that seems to make it happen more often. I think it is the same feeling, my chest drops as well along with the floor. Mine started with withdrawing from Cymbalta.

Do yours happen more when you're walking or standing? Mine rarely occur sitting down.

Hi there yea I suffered from server anxiety and this was one of the main symptoms I suffered from feel free to ask anything and reassurance regarding the symptons😊

Yes. It's so hard not to be terrified when you're literally getting the feeling people get when something terrifies them. I just try to take deep breaths and it happens and remind myself that its not dangerous.

When you suffered from severe anxiety what did you do to help yourself? Are you anxiety free now or do you still suffer?

Yea I have really bad health anxiety I’m convinced something is wrong with me it’s started after I had my second baby and it’s been going on a year now. I’ve been on mirtrazapine which seems to help sometimes but still get symptoms dizzyness short of breathe, chest shocks etc. I just wish I could wake up and be like I was a year or so ago 😩

hi there ive been reading the posts regarding sink feelings in chest with anxiety do you still get these feelings too

Not even close to being anxiety free. Made the mistake of starting cymbalta for it and it never worked now anxietys terrible coming off it. It gets really scary at times but what ive been doing to try and remain calm is to take deep breaths in and out occasionally, keep essential oils running from a diffuser at home (lavender, vanilla, tangerine, bergamot, cypress, etc), put oils on my wrists and behind my ears when I'm not at home, very little caffeine, and just try to distract my thoughts. It helps a little. If you're not on any kind of medicine for anxiety already, I've heard 5htp and l theanine are really good otc supplements.
