Guys, how often do you experience palpitations from anxiety? Like every 30 seconds or every minute? or few times every hour? or few times a day? At the moment i am having palpitations like every 15 seconds and it scares the hell out off me and it lasts all night . And sometimes i feel sharp pain in my heart and neck artery...... I know its just anxiety. But im starting to panic about it again.... I was at cardiologist 2 years ago and everything was fine.... Now for few months i didnt have any palpitations... And now i have them every 15 seconds and those are so intense that i cant sleep and im in constant panic mode.I am using benzos but they are not helping. How do you calm your palpitations? Do you get scared like me from them?

I am going through the same thing right now. Has been several weeks. I have had them for about 9 years now but they went away for several years then came back. Some days I wont have any (that I notice) then other days ill have several a minute for a few minutes. Do yalls just happen when yall are sitting or also with exercise. I havent been to a cardiologist and that is whats scares me. Ive been in college the last 4 years and a Mom to two kids so havent had insurance. My PCP dismisses them. I have had ECGs , chest xray, & blood work all normal. The worst for me is fear of working out because they happen when i work out. It's a double edged sword. I cant exercise due to PVCs but that also makes me unhealthy. Ive always been on the heavier side but active and loved sports. I am 30 & not as healthy as I should be. I wish i knew FOR SURE this is all anxiety and my heart was fine 

mark, I know exactly how that feels. One thing that really helps me is having someone talk to you while you’re going through it. What I mean is I listen to a great short talk on YouTube. She talks you through your panic and rapid heart rate.

next Time you’re feeling that way, search YouTube for something called stop panic attack now. Then scroll down to one called don’t panic. It’s in bold black letters. It’s not long and it’s amazing how the heart rate slows down! I have used this many times. just get relaxed and do what she tells you to do.

you are going to be just fine. Any symptoms of anxiety cannot hurt you even though they feel really scary. The main thing is learning how to get in control of your breathing and heart rate. I hope you feel better soon!
