Heart Trouble

I wonder if problems with the heart are more normal for ME people than I have been aware of. It concerns palpitations, overspring, and fibrillations.

It has quietly gone worse. Anyone know anything about this? It is very unpleasant.

I developed Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation with the ME/CFS and also get other odd irregularities at times and I believe these sorts of problems are common with our condition. I was referred to a cardiologist after being taken into hospital a couple of times for Cardioversion and he now keeps an eye on my heart for any other changes.

If you haven't as yet been referred to a Cardiologist it's worth asking your GP as heart problems of various types are common with ME/CFS patients nand it's worth getting checks done before they worsen.

I suspect so.  I had to have a cardioversion three years ago after beiing diagnosed with atrial fllutter (a relative of atrial fib).
