You can stop it without any problem all you need do is to take your mind off it.

Just think about it, you are 18 YO and you have a lot of testosterone so it feels good to do it all the time, Great! Buy the time you reach a certain age the testosterone will drop and you will only get it up using your hand. Be careful! You might get a sexual disfunction!

You will pre-ejaculate prematurely as a result to this and that won’t satisfy your partner. Put that man juice to use at the gym or with hard training with a sex partner.

    The NHS says this:

"Masturbation is completely normal and extremely common. People of all ages masturbate and it’s often the first sexual experience they have.

Can masturbating cause any health problems?

Masturbation doesn’t cause any harm, either physically or mentally, even if you do it often. Your genitals may feel sore if you masturbate a lot in a short space of time.

Although people may be embarrassed to talk about masturbating, you shouldn’t feel ashamed of it or guilty about doing it. If you feel the need to masturbate is interfering with your everyday life, talking to a GP may help."

Fwiw, I've been masturbating for over 40 years, and I'm hoping I have plenty of years left.

I've attached a graph of how often people masturbate at various ages:
