when I had my last open surgery, my first 2 periods came heavily with clots too but normalized after the 3rd month. so i think what you are experiencing now is not really abnormal. though people's bodies react differently. you will be fine. but keep up with veggies and iron supplements

thats great and very very reassuring to know. Most definitely still keep going with veggies and iron supplements. i can say most definitely that my periods now have changed and become more vibrant and regular. i am still a young 44!!!!!

After my surgery, I got a very light period about 4 weeks after, and then about two weeks later my period came back HORRIBLY to the point where the bleeding was just as bad, if not worse, than before I had the myomectomy. I had to go back on the pill and follow a regimen in which I only take the placebo every 3 months in order to stop the constant bleeding.
