hello there, go on youtube there are some fruits you can juice that can help you minimise the bleeding and see the gynae as soon as possible to have the fibroids removed.

Unfortunately that concoction does not work to reduce bleeding let alone shrink fibroids, like the internet claims. Best thing you can do is go to your doctor and get a prescription for Tranexamic acid, it works for most women and can reduce your flow drastically while you decide of your next step with your broids. Good luck

tranexamic acid reduces the period but doesnt stop the flow. is there no solution to the bleeding?

I mean your doctor could try you on lupron to stop the bleeding and give you a period break for a few months but if you still want to have children theres nothing permanant. I took esmya for 3 months and my period was as heavy as ever and did not stop(no fibroid shrinkage either) but my surgeon said it doesnt work well on younger women. My periods are really light now but i had a myomectomy over a yr ago. vitex is good and natural to help symptoms but doesnt work as well as tran or lupron.

    Hi

You should go to your doctor to find out the underlying causes. There is a number of treatment available some of are non surgical which could help. I have been taken AV and Blackstrap Molasses for 10 years and though shorten the number of days of my period, I still bled heavily and in the end was referred to Hospital where I was prescribed Esyma which reduced by fibroid to a size where I don't bleed heavily. My consultant was pleased with the results as this does not work for all women and also once you finish taken them, the fibroid can grow back. I am on a watch and wait mode now.

Good luck in finding your course of treatment - with the fibroid, it is such an individual thing.

      Hi

My consultant gave me this treatment as this is the least invasive and not had children. Where I lived, this could only prescribed at the hospital and you can only take for 3 months, It laterally stops you bleeding for that time and I suppose other thing internally, You still get PMS symptoms just not the blood. I had a 1 month break which you are suppose to and when I had a scan, my fibroid had been reduced so my consultant put back on it again for 3 months, had a 1 months gap again and a scan again where it had a reduced again. My consultant prescribed a 3 months just to hold the fibroid in place. My period has return to normal after this due the shrinkage. My consultant was very pleased with results with me but it does not work for everyone and also once off it, you fibroid can still grow back. I have a yearly check up and luckily the heavy bleeding has not returned.

I would suggest you see your doctors to go over your options and also to check you iron level as you losing so much blood. I do not miss being anaemic every few months due to my heavy bledding.

      Hope this helps.

In terms of shrinkage I researched about two juices, which I have started to do pre and post surgery

    1. juicing of green appples, beetroots and carrots ( beetroots is raw not the cooked one) peel skin and cut up roughly into a blender, same with apple, ( do not peel) nutrients are in the skin, same with carrots, add water to determined the thickness you would like.
    2. . Raspberry leaf tea - good for strengthening the uterus and calming down those cramps pre period.

personally I do not believe we can ever eliminate fibroids, as they feed on our blood supply, the key is to reduce that blood supply and shrink them.

if you are able to take Ibuprofen, take at least 800 mg. it will slow the bleeding down. Ihave been dealing with this for about 8 years. I didnt believe it at first but it works as long as you have no other health problems that prevent you from taking ibuprofen.
