Heavy chest and breathing

Hello ladies it has been awhile since i logged into the forum, hoping you all are doing well. Over the weekend i suddenly felt like I have weights on my chest sometimes followed by difficulty breathing. It is now 1 o'clock in the morning and i am trying my best to calm down. Has anyone experienced this. With this covid mess going on , can sometimes play on my emotions when a symptom pops up.

I had this problem about 2 months ago and remember that I would wake up and feel like I was going to stop breathing in my sleep, it was the weirdest sensation and very scary. I would panic and wake up my husband. He spent about 2 weeks staying up watching me breathe just to comfort me. It passed and along in it's place came a new symptom. I have had so many symptoms, I have started keeping track in a notebook. I hate my life right now. Menopause is the hardest thing I've ever been through.

I had this chest tightness at the weekend, went to hospital and doctor did an ECG, nothing was picked up. I think its a menopause symptoms as I've had it many times on my menopause journey.

Forgot to mention it did cause anxiety, my lungs felt that i couldn't take a full breath, its like theres candyfloss in my lungs, congested, but doctors who check me says my chest is clear. Its scary for me as i live alone. However After few days the symptoms disappeared.

I have had this many times, but it eventually takes a break for awhile. Very unsettling.
