Heavy head

This may sound strange but my head feels too heavy for my neck, newly diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Gabapentin makes me spacey and have a dry mouth so now am taking co-codamol for pain relief.

I have muscle and joint pain too. Is this normal?

I have suffered with many symptoms, my suggestion is to consult a doctor and get medicine composition clonozepam which is an antiexcitatory and it reduces pain and muscle spasm .

You can get information on internet , let me know if any kind of help from me on this.

    Hi Dianne

I have had that feeling of my head being too heavy for my neck..My doctor suggested I bought a collar and wore it through the day. I have physio on my neck and it helps my headaches. Muscle and joint pain is normal with Fibromyalgia.

    hope you feel better soon

Oh yes the rag doll head I call it, hurts like no1s business trying to keep your head up, I bought one of those neck supports for car journeys, the larger sized ones, and wear it sideways or back to front as my head flops to the side or or front when this happens, helps to ease the pressure somewhat, not sure if a physio could supply a neck brace that would be as comfortable to be honest, but worth investigating I guess xx
