It has been 12 months since my ankle fusion and my right side has really been hurting xray show everything is fine. Physio has put a heel lift in my shoe which seems to be doing the trick. Doctor measured my legs today 2cm difference. Has anyone had a heel lift made. I live in Cairns, Australia and I do not want to wear joggers for the rest of my life. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Marian, I'm having the same problem my xrays seemed to be fine also but still suffering from pain on my right side then it spread to my heel.i got re xrayed but from behind this time and i have a varus tilted heel..Did they do xrays from behind for you?

Hi no they didn't just the hip because that is where most of the pain was coming from.
