heel pain after walking up stairs

So i broke my talus about 2 And a half months ago, and yesterday i was cleared to walk, but they warned me not to outstretch my heel, and as i was walking up my stairs, it immediately went into pain, there is no scrunching noises, but everytime i walk, i feel this pain at a certain point in the footstep. not very sure if its muscle atrophy or just regular?

    Did you have a tri or bi fracture?

      i actually dont even know, the doctors never said, they did say it wasnt a crack through my whole talus however, it was just in the middle
