Heel pain at 9 months post-op (foot&ankle surgery)

Any one still have/had bad heel pain at 9 months after a complex foot and ankle surgery? i had a lot of things done on both sides of ankle (mostly related to tarsal tunnel nerves and peroneal tendons). No permanent hardware except arthrex wire running from SPR to back of fibula. I was casted close to 3 months and non-weight bearing for over 3 months, in a boot for a month+ after. thought i was good at 6 months, but a lot of walking on vacation and all this heel pain started after. the pain happens after rest and then trying to get back up and walk again (sometimes after only sitting down for a few minutes). occasionally it is so bad i am afraid to put weight on the foot and wonder if it will hold (fortunately it has). i am up to 10k+ steps walking a couple days per week. surgeon had to debride part of plantar fascia and said scar tissue would need to fill that in. surgeon removed heel spur since he was already in there. the plantar fascia pain, if that's what it is, is as bad as before surgery. i was told this is a full year recovery, but am concerned about this heel pain still at 9 months post op.
