Heel pain - is this a blister or something else?

I've been wearing two pairs of shoes for around the last 2 years on and off - both similar Nike / New Balance everyday shoes for the last 2 years and I have had no issue wearing them. Just last year, I was walking around 10,000 to 15,000 steps a day and never had pain or uncomfortableness walking around my city.

About three weeks ago, I started having this tingling/pressure squeezing feeling in my heels. At night, they are super red while the rest of my foot is normal colored and has no pain anywhere. Laying on the couch with my feet up even feels uncomfortable with the heels against the couch fabric even through a pair of socks. I've visited a shoe store for insoles and was told that I have high arches... which I've never been told before in my life so I'm not 100% sure they're accurate.

Any idea what this is? Is this just a basic blister and I need to get refitted for shoes? Or is this something else like plantar fascilitus?

please see a foot specialist for xrays to determine the cause of heel pain , then treatment will be easier to calculate. my guess could be a tear in the arch tendon in the heel and his can cause a tear and leave a spur on the bottom of the heel. very painful. high arches make feet can easily cause feet to become suseptible to this problem. freeze a water bottle and roll your foot over the bottle slowly to stretch the tendon and treat the swelling. rest stay off the foot for it to heal. also a podiatrist can help with the application of custom arches . also rocker shoes will help relieve the pressure in feet and improve your walking gate less pain on the heel and arches. until the cause is diagnosed it is a progressive problem.
