what type of salt are you using ? as your standard table so is no good it has to be seasalt

the piercing place gave me some salt and tea tree oil to use but i think it may be normal salt now
i will try some sea salt

If it doesn't go down after a week of using sea salt you may need to go to the doctors but it should work . some piercing places gives some real bad advice on what to do and I have never once been told to use tea tree oil and I have 10 piercings so for time being don't use that as it could be what's made it worse for you

Becky if this doesnt subside in the next few days or gets worse quickly you must go to A/E. you may need urgent antibiotics. If you feel your glands in your neck or just below your ear are swelling or you feel unwell,please go straightaway.

Use sea water salt. It will help you better. But First Go see a doctor as these infection can be malignant.
