Hi all , I've just joined this group and popped in to say hello. I'm 59 and am about 50% lung capacity . I exercise every day and hope I'm managing my Emphysema well, but I'm always looking for info on living well .

    Welcome ,you will find there are some that are the same level as yourself and some a little worse ,all are welcome ,

      Hi ,dare I say I'm ok at the moment ,,,,,touch wood etc etc ,thankyou ,

      I've been to the gym today and I managed 3&1/2 Klm on the treadmill ,not too bad ,slowly working up ,aiming to get to 5 Klm ,

    Welcome, this is a very informative site with good people who like to share. I'm almost 56 myself and am also at 50% last time I was tested. I don't get to exercise bc I have other serious issues but I think I'm managing pretty good for now. Keep us posted! Ladyjack51

    Sounds like you are doing all the right things and hoping that if you smoke, you quit.  Otherwise, nothing else you may do will help improve your health.

      Hi and thanks, Nanny1086! I came on here asking questions referring to my mom but I have asthma and it's not well controlled, unfortunately. But I'm trying my best to get it under control again. Hope you are doing well!
