Hello my name is Kimberly I use to be on here under another Harry Potter user name and had some great conservations with some great people that really helped me if they are on still here i would love for them to reach out,
I have been suffering with some bad anxiety what are some things you do to calm yourself?

there are several things you can do to calm yourself in the moment. The first and most important thing is proper breathing for anxiety. You can find this on YouTube. There are hundreds of short or longer meditations for breathing. Proper breathing lowers the heart rate and brings you into the present moment. You can also do simple things to relax your mind such as getting a little exercise even if it’s just taking a nice walk in nature. Exercise increases oxygen to your brain.
Do little things for yourself such as take a nice warm bath while listening to a relaxing meditation for anxiety
.. One thing that takes my mind off of anxiety is when I do something for somebody else. It takes the focus off of myself while helping somebody else. Stay busy. The worst thing you can do is sit around in overthink. Also, if your anxiety is too great to manage, think about getting counseling. I do online virtual counseling once a week which is a great help. Sometimes you just need to talk to somebody else and get some suggestions. I hope this helps and feel free to private message me anytime. Take care
