have had a change on the glans penis for two or three months, it doesn't hurt. Have you been to the doctor for a check-up?

i went to a doctor, he was not sure, but in researching such conditions you will find how doctors often are unable to diagnose with accuracy, diagnosis can often be wrong and require a biopsy for confirmation which can still provide wrong diagnosis and can cause trauma and make the condition worse especially on such a sensitive area. and even with diagnosis there is no good treatment.
i did my own research, i have spent too much time researching this.
i am very certain i have Lichen Planus, i think you may have it too.
it is potentially very benign but it is very stubborn and may never go away. completly, it can get worse, it may not.
typical treatment is ultra potent steroid cream,
i found it does make a difference but it is hard to know how to proceed with this line of treatment as it is a dangerous cream to use in excess as it supresses the immune system and can cause other issues, also it may well come back, it treats the symptoms not the disease.
it is considered a malfunction in the immune system although there are studies suggesting it is more linked to bacteria in the system.
could you share if you had a change in sexual activity or higyne or stress levels before this happened, or if you are sexually active? and if you had a virus or illness before the symptoms occured, it could help us understand the root cause of this issue.
for me the worst thing was the mental anxiety it caused, especially when the quality of the skin seemed to get worse all round and the patches were spreading.
looks like you have a combination of changes that i can relate to. the circular rings. where the skin might become whiter and raised. also changes at the rim of the head of the penis, i believe i had this too.
it has been over a year now for me since first symptoms of what looked like peeling skin, then i noticed a red patch on the shaft. i then could see that under the red patch there were white lines in rings/patterns that would sometimes become more prominent.
i then started to experience a pink patch on the rim and then a degrading of the quality of the penis skin, thats when i became very worried.
since then i made a very important move, i began to apply nourishing oils to the skin, i have experimented with almost every one you can imagine.
all in all it has helped, oils such as borage, organic sunflour/carrot oil, tamanu, karanja, neem, seabuckthorn, emu oil. for the moment i like borage and emu oil best.
i stopped using soap or shampoo or shower gel on my genital area, only specialist excema products.
only cotton underwear.
i found hot springs to be helpful.
i am trying to experiment more with fasting to help heal.
the condition for me is quite stable now, it causes no pain or itching, the patch on the head diasapeared and apart from the worry and the fear it seems harmless.... still i wish it would go away.
using the oils helped restore the skin and the skin in general looks healthier apart from the area that is pinkish, with white lines inside the skin.
i may consider using the steroid cream every day for a couple of weeks and see if it will help more. i originally mixed it with hyaluronic acid cream as per my doctors suggestions and used only a minimal amount of clob steroid cream but i believe direct application is much more effective.
please do share some more information on anything you think may have caused the changes.

I have changes in my mouth, I have white lesions. There is oral and genital lichen planus. I have been to the doctor about the penis, he is not sure about the diagnosis. He recommended a steroid cream, if it doesn't get better I should have a biopsy. I'm scared, depressed, I'm afraid it's not cancer.
