I feel like that too, i've just gone on tranquelisers cause i'm suffering from major deppression, not saying it's all implanons fault but i dont think it's got absolutely nothing to do with it, as i've seen a lot of mood swing coments from about 85% of implanon notice boards that i've been on tonight! I felt quite moody too when i was on the contraceptive injection which seems simular. i have only been on this implanon 3 weeks & hope i can continue when i feel better in myself as it is just so easy isn't it?! i'm hopeless at remembering my pill sad

I think people get moody with most contraception - however i think ones like Implanon & injection intensify it as their so strong to last so long.

    :magic:

i have had manic depression for the past 11 years and i have had my implant for 2 and a half year. i am not sure but i think i have had slight weight gain and i'm not sure if it has contributed to my mood swings in the past i am sure though that i am so nervous about having it out later this year. i am worried about what i will be like without one in. what if it has affected my moods and what if i have put on weight. anyways i am really sorry you have both felt like this with the implanon as the idea of it is fab contraception you only have to think about every 3 years great stuff! xxsad:?
