Hi darling how old are you? If you are 14 you do need to see your GP. This is important as he will ask you some questions relating to your health. It's nothing to worry about but if your menarche hasn't started it could be due to many things. Perhaps you feel you are putting on weight and may have been cutting down on the food you eat. It could be the reverse that you have gained weight? I would certainly ask to see a health professional, if your own GP is a man, I am sure you could ask the practice to see a lady doctor or the practice nurse. Try not to worry as that too could be the cause, but the sooner your mind is put at rest, the sooner it will happen. Good luck as you are approaching womanhood when your hormones are all getting going, it is a strange time for all young girls, you may feel weepy, you may feel bad tempered, you are certainly anxious it's quite normal, chat to your mum, she will understand but above all have a chat to a lady doctor who will I am sure reassure you and prepare you for the years ahead.

I never experienced that at all in my lower part of tummy hurt while I was on my periods. If you are really hurting all the time go see a GYN. He/she will know what is going on. Good wishes to you honey.

Darling if your 12 this IS just the right time to be starting your periods. If you start them very early say at 8 or you don't have anything until you are in your mid teens that is the time to see your GP. Try not to worry, the muscular pain is probably just that! However if you can do the splits or are very bendy, while again it's nothing to worry about, but the next time your mum takes you to see your GP she needs to say your Hypermobile. It's nothing to worry about, you are probably a good gymnast or ballet dancer, so just enjoy your life as you will become a young woman soon xxx

Just take yout time and chin up. Generally it depends on your organism as whole. Great health to you! And it's so  good that you're worried about it. Of course if it necessary ask your mom and doctor. They'll do their best.
