Hello there. Ive noticed in the base of my penis that its skin is drying and then the skin is peeling off. There are some times that i felt itchy but mostly there are no pain . Its just dried skin and i observed small white dried patches skin on it. I attached a picture for your reference i hope someone would have a great idea or knowledge about it. I have only one sex partner which is my girlfriend. I am worried if its STI or a type of any skin disease. image

It looks benign but you should visit a dermatologist to treat that condition if that doesn't improve, skin conditions are as serious as stds. No std causes dry skin.

It may just be dry skin caused by masturbation or sex because of a lack of lubrication or caused by some soaps or allergy.

It may also be other conditions that are more serious ( psoriasis or eczema,).

If it doesn't improve in one week, Go see a dermatologist for a better diagnosis and a better treatment.

Thanks for the info. Thats what i thought. Is it possible also that it is a reaction due to my gf vaginal fluid or some sort? Maybe its acidic or something? If its eczema or psoriasis why is it only appeared on my genitals?

Im still saving money for doctor appointment. Cause seeing a doctor here is quiet a luxury.

because it may appear on any part of the body. just wait and see if there is improvement. If not go see a dermatologist. I don't think you have psoriasis , it may just be a possibility. That's why it's better to see a dermatologist in person if there is no improvement.

It doesn't look like thrush, if it was thrush it would also affect your glans. Thrush is more common in women, but it may also affect uncircumcised and diabetic men or men using corticosteroids or antibiotics ( long term) or not having good hygiene.

Keep your genitals clean and wait, if no improvement, make an appointment with a dermatologist

Marco, how long has your skin been like this / when did this first happen?

In terms of seeing a medical professional, are there free sexual health services in the area in which you live?

I have no idea. As of the moment am still saving for an appointment for a private dr. I think its been like this for 3 weeks. Sometimes it went like that in the pic. I just robbed off the dried skin and it will peel off easily and it will look like normal. Usually it will look like in the pic after shower. Especially when i wash it with soap. I hope its not STI related. I am certain that it is not but its better to be sure.
