Help!!!

So, this is what's going on. My son was diagnosed with scabies about 4 weeks ago. My family did the first treatment of perm. At this time my other two kids and I had no symptoms. After the first treatment we got these little red bumps and then they scabbed. I am losing my ever loving Monday over this. I cleaned, vacuumed, bagged clothes that I couldn't wash, sprayed lice spray on beds, couches, and floors. Washed the bedding and all. My son seems to be healing slowly. I wasn't so sure that the first treatment worked so, we did a second one just one week ago. Again, we have some little red bumps that are now scabbing. Are they dead? Do we need more treatment, is it after effects? What is it!!?!?? Please help. I've cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. Please any info would be appreciated.

In my experience when you see new bumps they are there! I have had for 5 months now! Treat everyone the same time and also the pets. Give them a bath with permethrin in it. Look up Ivermectin.' You can get it at the feed store. Doctors are reluctant to give that but you can try. These things are relentless!! Worst thing I have ever dealt with. My husband was cured with the ivermectin but not me. I am taking Quest horse paste with moxidenton in it. It was supposed to work using just once but oh no. I keep getting new bumps every two days. Do I am going to take it every two days. I slid got nustock. Can get on eBay. It is safe as long as you dilute it. It's for treating on your body, btw head to toe. These new breed of scabies go in scalp, nose eyes,! Treat animals every 3 days. Put  all over them, you will hate it it smells but it will kill the ones on your skin. Keep up cleaning and especially vacuuming.

Also, don't forget the car! You can get permethrin in liquid at feed store for $5.00 mix it 50/50 with water and a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid to disperse. Soak your whole car. Steering wheel seats floor, do every 3 days, just research everything you can, the nustock has sulfur in it and that kills the ones outside. If you miss a spot, they will find that spot and infest. Bottoms of feet, toes, cut nails short then use toothbrush to put sulphur under nails. I put all over my head then put shower cap on. Also diamectrous earth it is messy but very safe for the kids. Use on them as powder even sprinkle in socks and shoes, this is not a battle you are fighting but a WAR! Good luck

    Hi Jen

I am so sorry you have to experience this but it's a horrible think I know. It can take up to six weeks or at most 8 weeks to kill scabies completely. I hated every moment of it and made me feel very depressed and tired. You just have to keep doing what you do. Bedding needs to be dried every day in dryer for about 15 min in hot heat. You should try and use ad little clothing as possible so that you can wash everything and then you have to dry it in a hot heat. Hot showers help as well as they die in extreme heat. I used to calamile lotion as well. I am from South Africa so I am sure the name might stay the same. Just keep strong and keep things covered and make sure clothing and bedding is cleaned daily. I know its a b***h but there is no simple solution for this problem. If you don't have a dryer you must wash things only in hot water. Just keep strong you will get through it. But unfortunately there is a s**t load of killing to do to get the buggers dead. Don't stop using the medication as they breed like flees. Just keep going on four about 5 weeks and it will start getting better. Good luck and I am so sorry.

Hello, sounds like your doing good don’t stress it! It should take from 2-6 weeks after your first perm treatment until the bumps go away and the agony stops. Having these mites can be absolutely agonizing especially at night. But they do go away and there’s light at the end of the tunnel ! Your not alone in this WAR, because it’s not a battle. It sounds like your winning just keep it up!

I’d tu sulphur soap, diatomaceous earth and neem oil also, along with the perm cream. A Whole Foods store should have them

It is a long and agonizing wait but relief Will come in the name of God. I pray it comes soon for you, just remember God Never gives us more than we can handle. He know everything, and is always in full control of everything. Hnd knows how you feel. Just don’t give up or get disappointed I know it’s hard but it relief will come.

Sorry Jennifer, it's so much harder when you have children to treat to. I am taken NGOs the Quest horse paste with moxidenton every 2 days and it's not working. I a have to stop now do I am just going to treat with the oils, diamectrous earth, alcohol, and peroxide. I don't know what else to do either! Cleaning constantly is killing me.
