Yvette, I know what you are going through, both my partner and mother had pancreatic. Can I ask what stage is the Cancer, how much pain is your Mum in and for how long, which hospital is The Whipple going to be done in? I have a genuine reason for asking, going on my two experiences. I live on the Isle of Wight, William would not have been treated here. Ma was staying with my sister in California, went on to have the Whipple there. Once I know the answers to my questions, I will give you all I know from my own experiences and what I learned and think. I don't know where you live or what your hospitals are like for specialists, how confident you are in who you have met so far. Chin up, and your Mum. Don't start looking on the internet, or not yet, worst thing mine did, nearly went bananas too much info and all different. Promise will keep in touch. Take care, big hugs Marcelle x
