******I had a baby 6 weeks ago. Since, I’ve been breast feeding and pumping consistently. I had completely stopped bleeding over a week ago (maybe two)from delivery. I had sex 3 days ago and have been bleeding even since quite a bit and now i feel faint and have the worse migraine that will not go away... should I go to the hospital?

i would go get checked out u could have an infection or something going on or mabe that its your period thats come the first one after a baby is always the worst but better to be on the safe side i had quite bad heavy bleeding and they have me antibiotics

Hi Jessica,
Are you not having follows up with the midwife team now? I remember having a six week check up with the team where you could ask them but, I myself might well go to the hospital just to get reassurance. As Kim says, it could be your first period although, I didn't have one for about 3 months when I was breastfeeding with my first but, we are all different.

You need to get to your doctor immediately to see about the bleeding and your intense migraine. Why would you not think that with the bleeding and migraine you should even wait for one day? Get an appointment now. I wish you healing and prayers.
