Hi jasmine,
It's almost impossible to make a diagnosis based on the appearance of the vaginal discharge alone. It would help if you could provide more details about when you last had sex, with whom (regular or casual), was it with barrier contraception, and if you have any additional symptoms (below) etc?
Only the last condition is an STD.
Rgds,
Adhari

If you're worried about trich, which is an STD, you'll need to see a doctor for a prescription. You can't clear TV just by vigorous washing.

There's no easy way of knowing without getting tested.
Thrush is more common than TV, but both can cause itching. So if you can't see a doctor, you could simply buy Canesten from a drugstore and self-medicate for thrush. If the symptoms clear quickly and completely, then it was probably just thrush; but if it was TV the symptoms are likely to persist.
Ideally, you should see a doctor and get some tests done.
