Hello,
I'm a 24 year old woman who started off with fairly mild symptoms that indicated a GI problem (after just recovering from a severe skin infection caused by a soil fungi of some sort which they couldn't identity), the initial symptoms started december 2015 were severe diarrhoea and cramps every single day for a good few months, that slowed down to every other day but during this time I developed severe nausea (all manageable with medication and have been referred for this only), at this time I developed severe sweating on my hands, feet, underarms and lower back.
Then I started to notice I was forgetting things (went from top of my class to the bottom at university) it started mildly but I'm starting to forget what happened in my day ,what I did 5 minutes ago and its got to the point where I'm forgetting family members names, have to really concentrate and repeat things so I actually do them - but I might still have my mind go blank on me, I also experience dizziness and lack of coordination, as well as my skin having a crawling sensation.
Over time I've been getting something new nearly every month list includes- dry mouth and eyes, pins and needles + numbness in hands, feet and face, shooting pains down my legs occasionally, headaches that have lasted weeks(so far), joint pain (all of them), muscle pain (everywhere), its painful when I press anywhere on my body, loss of appetite, food tastes bad in general - like its gone off, low body temperature, low blood pressure, light sensitivity, mood swings, anxiety (basically about everything), extreme fatigue, can't feel temperature (if its too hot or cold), lower back pain (kidney region), urinate frequently and with huge volumes (also its dark), swollen legs and abdomen, upper central abdominal pain, infrequent periods, craving saltly foods.
That's all I can think of at the moment (probably forgetting something), have been tested for Lyme's disease which was negative, I'm on the borderline for hypothyroidism (been put on thyroxine) - little improvement in any symptoms. Doctors just aren't taking it seriously, I'm just gradually getting worse...
Thanks, Cat

Well I don't think it is, one issue is solved (almost) - pain under my ribs is caused by my T9 nerve (getting nerve block for). I had more bloods done, my iron is now very high, despite me cutting meat out pretty much, I do have a very low iron diet (I asked because I was concerned because I have been anaemic before), I cut out every med but buscopan, cocodamol, loperamide and levothyroxine (was on 8 different meds) - not made a difference.. I've had a endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy, waiting on biopsies, next month I'm having a SeCAT thingy done to check for bile acid malabsorption.. Now my glands have been up for a month with no sign of going down along with joints that ache
