Help -16 days on Fluoxetine does it improve ?

Posted , 4 users are following.

I've been on 20 fluoxetine for last two weeks for panic / anxiety attacks. Its my first time on ADs so have been unsure what to expect so wondered if anyone could give me encouragement. I'm feeling real morning anxiety which doesn't really ease until lunch. Will this go ? Is it still early days ? I'm finding i still don't have much motivation for anything which is not like me. Just want to be back to my old self. Also the fatigue is still there and ive started getting leg twitches/spasms. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks. W

    hi Wendy .

i am at 20 weeks and still have really tough mornings . it has been up and down the whole way which makes things even more tough . its nothing anyone should go through and if they are, like us , we need to support each other . that being said , lots of people get better around your time frame but you cant expect anything . it will happen at it own pace . Im still hoping i get better as ive had a very tough week or so .

    Hello

i had similar initial reactions such as anxiety ( sometimes agitation) and tremors on my hands and legs for 8-9 weeks.

i'm on week 14 now. But i'm still taking Hydroxyzine Pam for anxiety, in the morning.

But no more uncomfortable reaction now.

please be patient but if it gets intolerable, please consult your doc.
